CAROLINE A. PILCH (CAROL) is also a native of Arizona, born and raised in Phoenix. Carol received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arizona Law School in 1986, where she was a member of the Arizona Law Review. Following graduation, Carol became associated with a Phoenix firm where her practice included civil litigation and participation with Bob Yen in the Native American water rights litigation and election law cases.

Carol is a graduate of the Arizona College of Trial Advocacy, an original member of the Horace Rumpole Inns of Court and has served as a faculty member at the Arizona State Bar Convention at a seminar entitled "Unauthorized Practice of Law." In 1996 Carol wanted to view law from a different perspective so she applied for, and was appointed, a judge pro tem for the Maricopa County Superior Court. She continues to serve as a judge pro tem, presiding over civil trials involving a variety of matters. Carol practices primarily in the State trial courts and United States District Court, and she has successfully argued cases to the Arizona Court of Appeals and the Arizona Supreme Court. Her practice emphasizes civil litigation, employment law and elections law.
